By downloading, installing or using Sky OS (“Sky,” “the app,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use Sky.

Sky is a desktop app for your projects. Project folders become desktop spaces where your files, websites and AI work together. These terms govern your use of the app, our website (skyos.computer) and any related services.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Sky for personal or professional purposes in accordance with these terms.

You may not:

• Reverse-engineer, decompile or disassemble the app
• Redistribute, sublicense or resell Sky
• Remove or alter any proprietary notices or labels
• Use Sky for any unlawful purpose

Sky requires an account. You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for everything that happens under your account. You agree to give accurate information when you sign up and to keep it up to date.

Your account is the only thing Sky keeps on our servers. Our privacy policy explains exactly what that includes.

Sky is in early access and available by invitation. It is free to use today and there are no paid plans. If we introduce paid features, we will update these terms and let you know before anything changes.

Sky's AI features run through your own Claude or Codex account. Their terms, pricing and privacy policies apply to that use, and any usage costs are between you and the provider. We do not resell or proxy their services.

Sky lets you open websites and web apps inside your spaces. Their content, functionality and policies are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We do not control, endorse or take responsibility for any third-party content or services you access through Sky.

You own everything you create or store using Sky, including your spaces, files, notes, layouts and configurations. We claim no rights over it.

Your content stays on your Mac. We do not access it and will not share it with third parties. Back it up as you would any other folder; we have no copy to restore.

Sky is in active development. We may release updates, change features or temporarily interrupt sign-in and other services for maintenance. We aim for a stable experience but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

We may discontinue features or the app itself, with reasonable notice.

Sky is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the app will be error-free, secure or available at all times.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits or revenue arising from your use of Sky.

You may stop using Sky at any time by uninstalling the app, and ask us to delete your account by email.

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms.

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will let you know through the app or by email. Continued use of Sky after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of Sky will be resolved through good-faith negotiation first and, if necessary, submitted to the competent courts in the Netherlands.
